Why join this workshop?
IFS is a therapy model founded by Richard Schwartz and has become widely recognized for its gentle yet highly effective approach to psychotherapy.
In this two-session workshop on advanced teaching skills, we’ll focus on how to support participants when they experience resistance, difficulties, or other psychological protection mechanisms during your teachings.
This workshop will be recorded, and replay access will be available for 4 weeks after the workshop. You’ll receive additional material and an audio to support your own understanding and use of IFS.
What you'll learn
You’ll learn to support participants and ease their integration and use of new modalities. Using insights from Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, we’ll explore…
- the what and why of the IFS model
- how the approach is integrated into the MSC program
- how to use IFS when our own protective parts step in
- experiential exercises to feel the impact yourself
- how to support participants having difficult experiences
- how to use IFS to help others build more self-compassion
